Summer Camp Scholarship

Overview: The EHF Summer Scholarship program offers Southern Arizona Public Safety and Active Military families the opportunity for their children to attend supervised programs, educational enrichment classes, and sports camps in Pima County during summer breaks.

Geographic Scope: Southern Arizona (Pima County focus)

Eligibility:

  • Children ages 5-18 years old

  • Families of Public Safety employees

  • Active Military families
  • Focus Areas:

  • Educational enrichment classes

  • Sports camps

  • Supervised summer programs
  • Program Details:

  • Helps offset the traditional expensive costs associated with summer vacation programs

  • Goal is to help keep children active during summer vacation so parents can concentrate on their critical profession

  • 2025 program funded 17 families, 25 children, and 14 departments with $12,500 total funding

  • Supported by partnerships with PICOR Foundation, St. Alban's Episcopal Church, and Hearts of Gold
