Overview

This program offers financial support for students to spend time performing research on topics relevant to Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), or Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, for a minimum of 10 weeks. The Foundation hopes to stimulate research interest in the area of IBD. Up to 16 Student Research Fellowship Awards will be available for full-time research with a mentor investigating a subject relevant to IBD. Mentors may not be a relative of the applicant and may not work in their lab. The mentor must be a faculty member who directs a research project highly relevant to the study of IBD at an accredited institution. Awards will be payable to the institution, not the individual.
