About The Mission of SCF The mission of the Stillwater Community Foundation is to help our citizens achieve their dreams for our city. We do this in the following ways: Helping Stillwater Organizations Raise Funds: For small organizations seeking to raise philanthropic dollars without 501c(3) tax-exempt status, the Stillwater Community Foundation can serve as an umbrella organization.Building Endowments: The Stillwater Community Foundation is also a place to build endowments, funds that preserve the original gift and spend only the annual interest earnings.Spearheading Special Projects: The Stillwater Community Foundation can also take on special fund raising efforts. At the Stillwater Community Foundation, we are strengthened by our shared purpose. We understand that what we can achieve together is greater than what we can achieve alone. We started this Foundation to serve as a bedrock on which to build a better life for Stillwater; an enduring place for generations to come. The Stillwater Community Foundation is an active community fund within the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma (CFO). This relationship allows the SCF to devote more time and effort to addressing community needs as Communities Foundation of Oklahoma acts as our back-office administrator.
