Overview

Stamford Arts & Culture (SAC) Grant The Stamford Arts & Culture (SAC) Grant is a project support grant intended to help fund arts and cultural programming. These grants support Stamford-based organizations in any discipline and at any stage. Since 2018, the grant has been administered by the Stamford Arts & Culture Commission and is fully funded by the City of Stamford. This grant is formerly known as the Stamford Community Arts Partnership Program (CAPP). Through project-based funding, the grant supports public engagement with, and access to, various forms of art, the creation of excellent art, learning in the arts at all stages of life, and the integration of the arts into the fabric of community life. Projects may focus on reaching a particular constituency; however, they may not be exclusionary. This extends to hiring practices and audience engagement. The SAC grant provides funds that may be used for a wide variety of program functions, and some operational expenses associated with said programming. FUNDING: The maximum award is $15,000 Proposals seeking funds greater than this will NOT be considered. Projects must demonstrate other sources of funding as well. Funds will be dispersed as a one-time payment in January.
