NOTE: Proposals can be submitted at any time and requests are reviewed three times a year in February, May and October.  See deadlines above. Events should be at least 45 days after the grant notification date in order to provide ample time for your organization to promote St. Charles' sponsorship. Our Mission In the spirit of love and compassion, better health, better care, better value. Sponsorships Caregivers are given the ability to pursue their individual interests in building a healthy community, both inside and outside the walls of St. Charles. We believe in giving back and rolling up our sleeves. This year, St. Charles will support the interests and passions of our caregivers through targeted, employee-driven grants. These grants recognize caregivers who volunteer to make Central Oregon a better place. Our responsibilities as caregivers require us to think beyond the traditional walls of a hospital or clinic and challenge ourselves to partner with nonprofits and community groups to enhance the places we call home.

Sponsorships will be given to support charities and organizations that complement the mission of our organization.Organizations are expected to have a detailed process for vetting out and preventing racist hate messages from being shared and being part of their event.  The group, program or event should reflect positively on St. Charles Health System.The group, program or event must provide appropriate visibility and value-added opportunities for St. Charles Health System such as the logo, banners, recognition in marketing materials, etc.One sponsorship grant will be made to the requesting organization per year, unless otherwise determined staff.

Ineligibility

Activities unlikely to be funded:Activities that will occur less than 45 days after the grant notification day.Fundraising activities where the proceeds do not stay in Central Oregon.Legislative advocacy groups, endowment funds, multiple-year commitments.Religious organizations, for the purpose of furthering a specific religious doctrine.Organizations that discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, age, disability, national origin or immigration status, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, genetic information or any other protected class or characteristic.Organizations that do not have a detailed process for vetting out and preventing racist/hate messages from being shared and being part of their event.Requests that benefit a specific person or family.Individual school clubs or fundraisers for a specific school.Field trips, school teams, or individuals in a fundraising event or activity.Conference fees.St. Charles will not fund indirect costs.
