Funding Focus

The foundation provides funding and support to worthwhile community projects that:
• Improve the quality of life in Sweet Home area
• Have broad community support and/or foster community involvement
• Have a lasting, beneficial effect
• Provide widely available advantages for children and families or enhanced livability, education and arts and culture to the community
• Demonstrate a high likelihood of successful completion

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) or other qualified tax-exempt organization, OR
• The proposed project may be implemented in partnership or affiliation with a tax-exempt organization

Projects NOT Eligible

• Direct grants, scholarships, or loans to individuals
• Personnel costs
• Multiple grant requests from subsidiaries of the same parent organization within the year (departments, committees, special interest groups of larger organizations) *Waivers may be granted upon request
• Endowments
• General fund drives or annual fundraising appeals
• Projects of sectarian or religious organizations whose principal benefit are for their own members or adherents
• Projects to retire debt or operational deficits
