Overview: Through its annual grant distribution, the Dallas Community Foundation gives back to the community, investing in solutions to address local needs. The Foundation funds programs and projects that benefit residents of the Dallas area, with preference given to those that serve urgent needs and/or have a broad and meaningful impact on the community.

Applicants may apply for projects or activities that fall in the following categories:- Applicants must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, as determined by the Internal Revenue Service, or other qualified tax-exempt entity
- Projects or activities must primarily serve the residents of Dallas Oregon or those residing within the boundaries of the Dallas School District
- Applicants must not have any open DCF grants or outstanding grant reports
- Projects or activities must fall in one of the specified funding categories
Eligibility Requirements
- Application Deadline: January 30, 2026 (5:00pm)
- Awards Made: March
- Funds Must Be Expended: By December 31 (unless otherwise negotiated)
- Interim Progress Reports Due: June 1, 2026 and October 1, 2026
- Final Grant Reports Due: At project completion, but no later than January 29, 2027

5. Specific Application Questions
- Organization Section: Organization name, contact person, address, phone, email, website, number of employees, number of volunteers, names of officers and directors, total annual budget
- Mission Section: Summary of organization's mission, description of programs/activities
- Project Section: Project title, total project budget, detailed list of projected expenses
- Grant Request Section:
- Grant request amount
- Whether this grant serves as a match to another grant (if yes, provide grant program name and application deadline)
- Time period grant covers (start and finish dates)
- Impact Section:
- Project Need: Describe the need for this project. What problem are you seeking to address?
- Project Summary: Describe your project. How will the grant funds be used to address the problem?
- Project Impact: Describe the anticipated impact of this project. How will this benefit the people you serve and/or the Dallas community?
- Partial Funding Section: If the DCF is unable to fully fund your request, should it be considered for partial funding? (Yes/No) If yes, explain how partial funding would impact your project
- Documentation Section: Attach 501(c)(3) determination letter or other proof of tax exempt status
