Program Background: The GLFT has awarded approximately $3.1 million in grant funding outside of traditional programs (Access, Research, Habitat, Stewardship). The mission of the Great Lakes Fishery Trust is to provide funding to enhance, protect, and rehabilitate the Great Lakes fishery. Special projects allow the GLFT to quickly seize unique opportunities that align with the organization's mission but fall outside regular program scope.
