Spannagel Vocational Education Scholarship Grant

The Spannagel Vocational Education Scholarship, established by The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, honors the legacy of vocational educator Billy Wayne Spannagel and his son, Dale Robin Spannagel. This scholarship supports graduating students from Kerr County who are accepted into vocational training programs, particularly those pursuing certification in aviation mechanics. The Spannagel Vocational Education Scholarship was created to honor the lasting legacies of Billy Wayne Spannagel, a vocational educator with over 35 years of service, and his son, Dale Robin Spannagel, a certified aircraft maintenance technician. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating student from Kerr County who has been accepted into a vocational training program, with preference given to applicants pursuing certification in an aviation mechanics program.
