Established in 1981 by visionary community members, the Foundation has grown into a trusted philanthropic leader, managing over $100 million in assets to support lasting community impact. Through partnerships with donors, grantmaking to nonprofit organizations, and the administration of academic scholarships, the Foundation serves 10 Central Texas counties—Bandera, Blanco, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Real, and Uvalde—working to ensure a high quality of life and a prosperous future for the Hill Country region. Ada and Ken Muller Scholarship Fund This scholarship was established to support the education of students who are graduating or have graduated from high schools in Bandera, Kendall, and Kerr counties. Students who have completed GED requirements while residing in Bandera, Kendall, or Kerr county are eligible to apply.

Eligibility

Students who have completed GED requirements while residing in Bandera, Kendall, or Kerr counties are eligible to apply. Recipients may be attending a university or college, a technical school, or a vocational school. Recipients can reapply for 3 consecutive years. A letter outlining continued need and qualification, as well as a transcript from the prior year are required. Applicants reapplying will be considered equally along with other qualified applicants.
