Ada and Ken Muller Scholarship Fund Grant

The Ada and Ken Muller Scholarship Fund, managed by The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, supports students graduating from high schools in Bandera, Kendall, and Kerr counties. Eligible applicants include high school seniors and GED recipients. This scholarship can be renewed for up to three consecutive years, ensuring continued support for students pursuing higher education at universities, colleges, technical, or vocational schools. The fund aims to foster educational opportunities and community development.

Through partnerships with donors, grantmaking to nonprofit organizations, and the administration of academic scholarships, the Foundation serves 10 Central Texas counties—Bandera, Blanco, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Real, and Uvalde—working to ensure a high quality of life and a prosperous future for the Hill Country region.
This scholarship was established to support the education of students who are graduating or have graduated from high schools in Bandera, Kendall, and Kerr counties. Students who have completed GED requirements while residing in Bandera, Kendall, or Kerr county are eligible to apply.

Eligibility

Graduating High School Senior or Prior High School Graduate in Bandera, Kendall, or Kerr counties. Students who have completed GED requirements while residing in Bandera, Kendall, or Kerr counties are eligible to apply. Recipients may be attending a university or college, a technical school, or a vocational school. Recipients can reapply for 3 consecutive years. A letter outlining continued need and qualification, as well as a transcript from the prior year are required. Applicants reapplying will be considered equally along with other qualified applicants.
