Our members are all committed to sexual health and are made up of Physicians (MD/DO), Clinician/Research Scientists (PhD), Advance Practice Providers (APN/PA), Allied Health Professionals (LPN/LVN/RN, Technician, Medical Assistant), Social Workers (MSW), and other healthcare or research professionals focused on sexual health across North America

Fellowship Training Program Grant for Women in Prosthetic Urology

The SMSNA Foundation is committed to developing future leadership in prosthetic urology and has established and SMSNA Fellowship Training Program in Prosthetic Urology.

The SMSNA Fellowship Training Program Grant for Women in Prosthetic Urology provides institutional funding of up to $70,000 for training of a post-graduate MD who identifies as female and is seeking to develop expertise in the evaluation and surgical management of erectile dysfunction and male stress urinary incontinence.

• The Fellow must identify as female and have completed a general urological residency within the last three years.
• Grant Funds are to be used to directly support salary and employees benefits (e.g., health, dental, vision coverage).
  • The hosting institution may supplement this funding, but SMSNA is strictly bound by the parameters of its grant funding.
  • Awards will be paid to the sponsoring institution (medical school, hospital, university).
