Smart Thermostat Program

Overview: Provides a cash incentive of up to $100 paid directly to residential customers to help cover the cost of installing a qualifying smart thermostat.

Geographic Scope: Available to residential customers of MEAN long-term wholesale power participants in eligible MEAN communities.

Program Period: Runs annually with MEAN's fiscal year (April 1 - March 31).

Eligibility:

  • Residential customers of MEAN long-term wholesale power participants

  • Must be located in eligible MEAN communities

  • Must install a qualifying smart thermostat
  • Award Amount: Up to $100 per installation

    Funding:

  • Funds paid on a first-come, first-served basis until funds last
