Geographic Scope: Arrowhead region (Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis counties, plus Fond du Lac, Grand Portage, Bois Forte, and Leech Lake nation within Itasca county)

Recent Awards: $13,819 awarded to 14 artists in Round 1 (March 2025)

Program Description:
Quarterly grants for individual artists in the Arrowhead region supporting smaller-scale art projects and professional development activities.

Focus Areas:
Based on recent awards, supports:

  • Artist website development and SEO

  • Attendance at workshops, symposiums, and professional retreats

  • Materials and supplies for art creation

  • Professional development and training

  • Small-scale art projects

  • Storage and preservation of artwork

  • Publication and distribution

  • Photography and visual documentation
