Overview

Sigma/Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) Grant Purpose The purpose of the Sigma Foundation for Nursing/Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) collaborative research grant is to encourage qualified nurses to contribute to the advancement of nursing science. Proposals for pilot, dissertation, and/or development research may be submitted for this grant. Funding Grants available: 1 per year Funding: US $10,000 (max) Funds for this grant are provided jointly by the ARN and the Sigma Foundation for Nursing. Allocation of funds is based on the quality of the research, the future promise of the applicant, and the applicant’s research budget.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria:Be a member in good standing of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) and/or ARN. Registered nurse with a current license Hold at minimum a master's degree or its equivalent. Ready to implement research project when funding is received. Submit a final report to ARN and submit completed abstract to Sigma's e-Repository. Present findings of research at a future ARN conference. You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. Be a member in good standing of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) and/or ARN.
