Improving health and quality of life. Our mission is to invest in and serve as a catalyst for ideas, partnerships and programs that improve health and quality of life through convening, educating and strategic grantmaking. Our Programs and Initiatives Addressing health and racial disparities requires a long-term commitment to working with and investing in communities. Sierra Health Foundation promotes health, racial equity and racial justice in 26 Northern California counties, while The Center works with local, state and national partners throughout the state to help build stronger, healthier communities. Sponsorship Requests Program Update We are providing limited sponsorship opportunities. Please review the submission instructions below. Submission Instructions We accept requests from qualifying nonprofit organizations in our funding region for event sponsorships that are compatible with the foundation's mission and programs. Submission due dates are: Feb. 1, May 1, Aug. 1 and Nov. 1 by 5 p.m. Please include a cover letter with event details and sponsorship options, as well as the organization's name, contact information (including phone number and e-mail address) and Employer Identification Number (EIN). Requests must be for one event only. Event sponsorship requests must be e-mailed no later than 5 p.m. on the due date. We will make funding decisions within six weeks of each of these dates. Please be mindful of these dates when submitting your request. We will not fund an event after it has taken place.

Ineligibility

We cannot fund 501(c)(3) nonprofits that are supporting organizations with an Internal Revenue Code of 509(a)(3).
