SHRM Inclusion Conference & Exposition Grant

Conference attendance grant focused on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the workplace.

Geographic Scope: Open to SHRM members nationwide

Focus Areas: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and professional development through conference attendance

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be ONE of the following:

• Employed (full or part-time)
• Full-Time Student

Applicants must also meet ALL of the following criteria:

• Have active SHRM membership through October 31st of the year the award is accepted
• Not receive any organizational support or reimbursement to attend the conference
• Not be pre-registered for the conference
• Not have received a SHRM Inclusion Conference grant in the past five years

Important Notes

• SHRM Foundation focuses on creating a more inclusive and equitable environment by empowering HR emerging leaders to make decisions that promote equality in the workplace
• Due to COVID-19 pandemic impacts, award packages may be adjusted including shifts to virtual registration or changes to travel stipends

2. Complete application form with required information
3. Confirm eligibility status
4. Submit by the published deadline

Required Materials:

• Proof of SHRM membership (active through October 31)
• Confirmation of employment or full-time student status
• Statement that no organizational reimbursement will be received
