SHRM Inclusion Conference & Exposition Grant

Overview: Conference attendance grant focused on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the workplace.

Geographic Scope: Open to SHRM members nationwide

Focus Areas: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and professional development through conference attendance

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be ONE of the following:

  • Employed (full or part-time)

  • Full-Time Student
  • Applicants must also meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Have active SHRM membership through October 31st of the year the award is accepted

  • Not receive any organizational support or reimbursement to attend the conference

  • Not be pre-registered for the conference

  • Not have received a SHRM Inclusion Conference grant in the past five years
  • Important Notes

    • SHRM Foundation focuses on creating a more inclusive and equitable environment by empowering HR emerging leaders to make decisions that promote equality in the workplace
    • Due to COVID-19 pandemic impacts, award packages may be adjusted including shifts to virtual registration or changes to travel stipends
