Grant Application Process

Submission Method: Online application system

#### Step-by-Step Process

1. Complete the Foundation Grant Application online via the submission portal
2. Submit application prior to the closing date of your desired award cycle
3. Applications are reviewed by Foundation's Grants Committee
4. Board of Directors provides final approval
5. Applicants notified of decision:
- May (for January-February cycle)
- November (for July-August cycle)

#### Required Documents

1. Completed Foundation Grant Application
2. IRS Documentation: Letter from the US Treasury Office stating your organization is tax exempt under 501(c)(3)
3. Organizational Leadership: List of Officers, Board of Directors, and major donors
4. Budget: Current itemized budget
5. Financial Statements: Audited or reviewed statements for the previous two years with:
- Program expenses identified
- Administrative expenses identified
- Fundraising expenses identified
6. Tax Returns: Most recent tax returns

#### Application Submission

• Click "Submit" button on Grant Application Instructions page to access online system
• All submissions must meet stated deadlines
• Submit by the closing date of applicable award cycle (end of February or August)

#### Award Cycle Dates

• Cycle 1: January 1 - February 28 (Board decision in May)
• Cycle 2: July 1 - August 31 (Board decision in November)
