Overview
Overview
Our mission: To be among the most capable, trusted, and impactful non-profit organizations in New York, responding to acute need in the communities we serve.
Episcopal Charities provides critical funding, and operational support to strengthen nearly 100 local organizations working to transform the lives of more than 1 million people in need each year. Working in partnership with these organizations, we help connect those in need with the generosity of caring donors and the energy of dedicated volunteers.
Since 1996, We Have Granted More Than $25 million.
* We fight hunger through food access grants;
* We strengthen communities through intervention and prevention grants that offer a path to success for the unemployed, those with substance use disorder, and the formerly incarcerated, among others;
* We protect the most vulnerable through shelter and immigration grants that improve quality of life for the homeless and immigrants.
* We create youth educational opportunities for the next generation of children through arts /music, and academic enrichment throughout the year.
Every program we support is free of religious content, welcoming one and all.
