Servant Leadership Grant Program

Overview: Created in 2019, the Servant Leadership Grant program honors and amplifies WECU employees' commitment to community service by providing funding to nonprofits where employees serve on boards.

Eligibility:

WECU employees serving in a board capacity at a nonprofit organization

Employees must be officially serving on a nonprofit board

Award Amount: Up to $2,500 per grant

Award Process:

Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the year

Grant awarded in the name of both the employee and WECU

Symbolizes shared commitment to strengthening the community

Purpose: Multiply the impact of employee volunteer service by providing direct financial support to the nonprofits they represent

How It Works:

Employees who serve on nonprofit boards can unlock up to $2,500 in funding for that organization

Ensures nonprofit partners can put resources to work when needed most

Example Recipients: Pickford Theatre, Placemake Arts Northwest
