Servant Leadership Grant Program

Overview: Created in 2019, the Servant Leadership Grant program honors and amplifies WECU employees' commitment to community service by providing funding to nonprofits where employees serve on boards.

Eligibility:

  • WECU employees serving in a board capacity at a nonprofit organization

  • Employees must be officially serving on a nonprofit board
  • Award Amount: Up to $2,500 per grant

    Award Process:

  • Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the year

  • Grant awarded in the name of both the employee and WECU

  • Symbolizes shared commitment to strengthening the community
  • Purpose: Multiply the impact of employee volunteer service by providing direct financial support to the nonprofits they represent

    How It Works:

  • Employees who serve on nonprofit boards can unlock up to $2,500 in funding for that organization

  • Ensures nonprofit partners can put resources to work when needed most
  • Example Recipients: Pickford Theatre, Placemake Arts Northwest
