Senior Health Assistance Program - BAA Reimbursement Tobacco Settlement Recovery Funds and federal grants funds have been earmarked for the Department to provide educational outreach and enrollment/application assistance on Medicare Part D drug plans, Social Security's Extra Help, Medicare Savings Programs, Seniors Free Transit Ride, Persons with Disabilities Free Transit Ride, and the Secretary of State's License Plate Discount Program through the network of Area Agencies on Aging and local service providers. The Benefit Access Application grant funds are to be used for the following purposes: Provide information and assistance services for the completion of applications relating to the Seniors Free Transit Ride, Persons with Disabilities Free Transit Ride, and the Secretary of State’s License Plate Discount Program. Provide technical assistance on applications relating to the Seniors Free Transit Ride, Persons with Disabilities Free Transit Ride, and the Secretary of State’s License Plate Discount Program.Eligibility
