Overview: Seeding the Movement Fund grants support grassroots organizing led by people from their communities. The fund supports transformative grassroots organizing with a commitment to investing in the ongoing work of start-up organizations through renewals, reflecting dedication to sustainability.

Focus Areas: Organizing for justice around interconnected issues including:

  • Environmental issues

  • Economic inequity and labor rights

  • Racial justice and Indigenous rights

  • LGBTQ+ rights

  • Women's issues
  • Geographic Scope: National (every region of the US) plus Haiti and Mexico
