Overview: CRMC awards an annual Seed Fund gift to a local healer of color.
Eligibility:
Selection Process: Each year, the previous year's recipient selects the next year's awardee. This creates a chain of healers supporting one another.
History: The Seed Fund started in 2020 with an Indigenous Midwife and continues to grow.
Geographic Scope: Local to Community Roots Midwife Collective service area (Colorado, 25-mile radius from Longmont office)
Purpose: To provide financial support and recognition to healers of color doing vital community health work.
