The Catalyst Grants program is designed to serve as the spark that jumpstarts or strengthens campus climate action projects that reduce emissions and build resilience. Grants support innovative projects that create meaningful, lasting climate impact on college and university campuses.Savannah State University Award
SSU received a $4,000 grant to create a Clean Energy Policy Simulation Lab. The Lab provides students in the Master of Public Administration, Marine Science, and other interested undergraduate students with hands-on experience analyzing energy and climate policies using real-world datasets and interactive tools. The funds also support scholarships for two students.- Principal Investigator: Dr. Aerang Nam, SSU Assistant Professor of Public Administration
- Deliverables: Clean Energy Policy Simulation Lab integrated into existing courses, student scholarships, analytical tools
