School Safety Personnel or Programming Grant Program- New School Safety Personnel Positions The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the FY 2027 School Safety Personnel (SSP) or Programming Grant Program. The goal of this funding is to promote the safety of students and school staff through the implementation of school safety personnel positions to prevent crime and violence. We are accepting applications for New and Continuation School Safety Personnel Positions. The following positions will be considered for funding: Division School Safety Director/ Coordinator/ Emergency ManagerDivision Threat Assessment Director/ CoordinatorBehavior Interventionist/ SpecialistLaw Enforcement Liaison OfficerSchool Ambassadors
