San Clemente Garden Club College Scholarship Program As a civic partner in San Clemente since 1951, the San Clemente Garden Club has seen firsthand what can be accomplished when we work together as a community and support our youth as future stewards of the environment and community leaders. The San Clemente Garden Club is proud of its College Scholarship Program which offers financial aid to students pursuing studies, certifications, or degrees related to Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Design, Ecology, Biology (excluding health sciences), Wildlife or Marine Science, and other environmental-based studies. One or more $2,000 Scholarships will be awarded.

Eligibility

Students pursuing studies, certificates, or degrees related to Horticulture, Botany, Environmental Issues, and Conservation by promoting study in the areas of: Agriculture, Agronomy, Biological Sciences (excluding pre-med), Botany, Conservation Biology, Ecology, Entomology, Environmental Science, Environmental Education, Floriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Plant Biology, Plant Sciences, Viticulture, and Wildlife or Marine Science and related studies. Must have completed one or more semesters or quarters and currently attending or will be enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university for the upcoming fall semester.Local high school senior in good standing with an academic GPA (weighted) of 3.0 or more, or continuing college or university student in good standing with a minimum cumulative college GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).US citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States.

Ineligibility

International or foreign exchange students are not eligible.
