The Pennsylvania Heartland Unit of The Herb Society of America is a group dedicated to studying and actively sharing horticulture history and exploring herb use. The Unit will be awarding a $2,000 scholarship again this year. The scholarship will be awarded to a student active within the field of horticulture or a related study. That student must be living in the Southeast Pennsylvania area, which includes: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Columbia, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Monroe, Philadelphia, Schuylkill, and York counties

Full time student entering his/her sophomore, junior, or senior year enrolled in a four-year college program studying horticulture or related fields which include: agricultural sciences, botany, plant sciences, agronomy, environmental sciences, landscape design, and sustainability studies. Consideration will also be given to a full-time graduate student.Masters Students must provide proof of enrollment.
