Program Description:
RCDI helps community-based development organizations, federally recognized Indian tribes and other groups promote economic development in low-income, rural communities. BDCC received $230,000 to develop economic development capacity in the Windham and Bennington County regions of Southern Vermont.

Use of Funds:

Regional capacity development to support economic development across Windham and Bennington counties

Workforce training, retention, recruitment initiatives

Sustainable business investment support

Improve capacity within partner organizations to serve economically challenged small towns

Increased awareness of CEDS initiatives and strategies across Southern Vermont
