Roots & Shoots International Youth Connections

Program Overview:
The Jane Goodall Institute-USA works with the Disney Conservation Fund to provide additional funding to international offices within the JGI family to expand the Roots & Shoots network globally.

Funding Partner: Disney Conservation Fund

Geographic Scope: 14 international JGI offices globally

Focus Areas:

  • Increasing the amount of time youth and their families spend in nature

  • Youth engagement in nature-based activities

  • Regional campaigns designed to meet specific country interests and needs

  • Environmental education and conservation

  • Classrooms and workshops in partner countries
