About the Foundation Founded in 1985 as a resource and steward in philanthropy, the Foundation manages nearly $62 million in charitable assets and 603 individual funds – each of which supports the unique charitable intent of the donor who established the fund. There is no minimum donation to an established Fund for a cause you care about. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $33 million in grants and scholarships and is a National Standards certified community foundation. The Roger and Barbara Ward Education Award This award was created in memory of Roger and Barbara Ward and is for the teachers within the South Henry School Corporation. Barbara Ward, was an educator within the South Henry School Corporation, and Roger Ward, was a farmer and board member of the South Henry School Corporation. The Roger and Barbara Ward Education Award is a grant for $1,000.00 to be used for classroom enrichment. This can include but not limited to purchasing of supplies and technology, in addition, may be used for continuing education conferences that pertain to the classroom. It is not to be used for sports or extracurricular activities.Eligibility
