Note: Pre-application Zoom call is REQUIRED FOR ALL APPLICANTS. During this call, we’ll first confirm that your organization is eligible to apply. If eligible, we’ll discuss your proposed funding request (the services/activities provided, target population, and expected results,) the financial health of your organization, and go over the timeline for the cycle. If we recommend you apply, we’ll also ask for more information about your organization, such as contact information, mission statement, and EIN. To prepare for the pre-application call, please review the Workforce Development SAMPLE GRANT and EVALUATION CRITERIA so we can discuss any questions you may have. The Pre-application zoom call is noted in the Cycle as Pre-Proposal. Simple Gifts Fund About the fund: This cycle is designed for organizations whose services align with these categories: Community coalitions/alliances (local organizations collaborating in a RMHF focus area such as Basic Needs, Behavioral or Physical Healthcare )Community gardens (garden space for community use that includes nutrition education and supplies fresh produce to local food pantries)Language justice/integration (organizations working to dismantle language barriers, equalize power dynamics, and build strong communities for social and racial justice)Peer support groups (behavioral health support in a peer-group setting)Respite care/in-home supports (caregiver respite and non-clinical, in-home assistance to create social connections, alleviate isolation, and help keep seniors and people living with disabilities in their homes)Focus area (offer direct services in Basic Needs: food pantry, emergency housing, transportation, safety, resource center; or Healthcare: physical or behavioral health clinical services) but are applying off-cycle or are a better fit here.
