Dr. Knox was president of the Texas State Medical Association, Chief Surgeon for the Southern Pacific Railway and helped establish several hospitals in the San Antonio, Houston and Louisiana areas. Robert Knox was active in the real estate business in Houston and was a veteran of both world wars.
