Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan was established in 1984 to ensure residents in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, Livingston and St. Clair counties can thrive. Robert Stempel Scholarship The purpose of the Robert Stempel Memorial Scholarship is to provide educational scholarship support for students at selected Detroit high schools, including Cass Technical High School, Detroit School of Arts, Renaissance High School, University Prep Science and Math High School and University Prep High School. Background Mrs. Patricia A. Stempel established the Robert Stempel Memorial Scholarship to provide college financial support for the students of select Detroit high schools who plan a career in science and/or engineering. Payments are limited to tuition and fees, books and supplies and room and board expense. The Robert Stempel Memorial Scholarship is a one-time award.Eligibility
