Riverside County Nonprofit Assistance Fund

Geographic Scope: Riverside County, California

Funding Source: $5 million in CARES Act funding approved by Riverside County Board of Supervisors in June 2020

Purpose: Financial support to nonprofits experiencing loss of revenue due to COVID-19 crisis

Eligibility:

  • Nonprofits headquartered in Riverside County or with an office in Riverside County

  • Organizations that experienced loss of revenue following COVID-19 crisis
  • Award Amounts: $2,500 - $10,000 per grant

    Background: Created to help nonprofits cope with increased service demands and reduced revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizes that the nonprofit community fills critical gaps that county and government agencies cannot meet.

    Administration: Co-administered by IECF in partnership with:

  • Riverside County Homeless Solutions and Workforce Department

  • Inland Empire Funders Alliance
  • Awards Distributed: First round in late August 2020 awarded $3.4 million to organizations across Riverside County
