Application Guidelines

• Grant requests must directly benefit students
• Requests should be clear, thoughtful and well researched
• Must demonstrate fiduciary responsibility
• Applicant must carefully research and substantiate the grant amount requested
• If granted, applicant agrees to accomplish/implement stated goals within the limits of the award
• Applicant must demonstrate follow-through and complete implementation within specified timeframe

Important Notes

• All funding decisions made by the Board of Directors on a rolling basis
• Foundation consults with SMCSD administration to avoid funding projects already budgeted by the district
• First step: Contact Principal Amy Hale to verify if district funding is available
• Basic needs and maintenance requests should be directed to campus administrator
