Request for Proposal: Faith-Based Development Initiative Podcast Producer
Enterprise Community Partners’ (Enterprise) Faith-Based Development Initiative is seeking proposals from experienced podcast producers to develop, produce, and distribute a high-quality podcast series about the growing national faith-based development movement. We are looking for a team to bring compelling stories, insightful discussions, and expert interviews and conversations to life.
Enterprise Faith-Based Development InitiativeSM (Enterprise FBDISM) provides houses of worship with the knowledge and tools to develop underutilized land into affordable homes and community facilities. The selected podcast producer will be responsible for the end-to-end production of podcast episodes, ensuring content is both engaging and of the highest quality. The producer will work with the podcast host(s) and consultant to plan shows, craft scripts, fact-check and conduct research for episodes. The job requires attention to detail and adherence to journalistic principles.
Project Overview
The _Radical Common Sense Podcast, Empowering Communities Through Faith-Based Development_ explores how faith-based organizations are transforming neighborhoods, building affordable housing, and driving economic empowerment. Through in-depth conversations with clergy, policy makers, development practitioners, advocates, and changemakers, we uncover the stories of impact, innovation, and faith-driven solutions that shape communities across the United States. Conversations featured will cover the intersection of faith, social justice, and sustainable development— one episode at a time—unveiling radical common sense each time. The pilot series will consist of six video-audio episodes, each running approximately 30-60 minutes. The primary objectives of the 6- episode series goal is to:

* Showcase success stories and best practices that encourage faith communities, leaders, and stakeholders to take an active role in development projects.

* Connect faith-based organizations with policymakers, developers, and investors to drive sustainable and inclusive development.
* _Amplify Voices_
* Highlight diverse perspectives from faith leaders, community advocates, and industry experts working at the intersection of faith and development.
* _Promote Solutions_
* Discuss innovative approaches, funding strategies, and policy changes that support faith-driven real estate and community transformation.

* Scope of Work
* We welcome responses from individuals or teams capable of handling both production and promotional efforts, or from respondents that can cover only the production and distribution elements of the bullets below.
* Pre-Production: Concept development, scripting assistance, and guest coordination.
* Production: Recording (remote and/or in-person) sound and video, sound design, and engineering.
* Post-Production: Editing, mixing, and mastering episodes for high-quality output.
* Distribution: Uploading episodes to major podcast platforms and ensuring accessibility.
* Marketing Support: Creating promotional audio/video snippets, assisting with launch strategy, coordinating paid media promotion, and providing guidance on audience engagement.
* Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years of experience as an editor in podcast production;
* Proven editing ability and outstanding judgment;
* Experience in show or podcast planning and demonstrated ability to create and manage a complex production calendar;
* Experience writing for broadcast;
* Experience maintaining high journalistic standards under deadline pressure, including standards of accuracy and objectivity;
* Demonstrated ability to generate and execute complex creative ideas and to assimilate and organize large amounts of information;
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under stringent timeframes, with shifting priorities/conditions;
* Experience with digital and multimedia production
* Strong communication skills both written and oral.
* Experience with fact checking and research.
* Strong organizational skills

* All costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this RFP are the responsibility of the applicant and will not be reimbursed by Enterprise Community Partners, Inc.
