Overview
The RES Award for Student Science Communication encourages students to write engaging articles on entomology for a general audience. Established by the Royal Entomological Society, this initiative promotes the dissemination of insect science knowledge. Students can submit articles up to 800 words in popular style, with prizes of £400 for the winner and £300 for the runner-up. Winning articles are published in the Society's journal, 'Antenna', fostering wider public interest in entomological science.
RES Student Award is granted to students based on any article about an entomological topic that would be of interest to the general public; the article should be to be easy to read, in a popular style and no longer than 800 words.
There are three awards:
