- Families are nominated through Renown Regional Medical Center and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center staff
- Selected by Reno Rodeo Foundation Board of Trustees and potentially partner foundations (such as Capurro Foundation)
- Funding approval by Foundation Board
Awards:
- Typical awards: $20,000 - $40,000 per family
- Award amount determined by Foundation Board
