To support innovative efforts to improve student learning and engagement in mathematics education at community colleges.WSCC Project Details
Project Title: "Increasing Engagement in the HyFlex Modality"Focus: Transforming the delivery of college Algebra through a HyFlex format that allows students to:
- Attend class in person
- Attend class online
- Switch between modes as needed
Project Goals
The WSCC team aims to make the HyFlex experience more:- Interactive
- Personalized
- Effective for students
Moving away from lecture-heavy formats toward inquiry-based models emphasizing discovery and hands-on learning.
