    A long-term resilience fund that commits 5 years of general operating grants to grassroots NGOs in India. The fund aims to support 100 new grassroots NGOs each year with:

  • Grant amount: USD 13,500 per year per NGO

  • Duration: 5-year commitment (multi-year general operating support)

  • Capacity-building support in addition to financial grants
  • Target Organizations:

  • Small, community-based NGOs

  • Grassroots organizations with direct proximity to vulnerable communities

  • Organizations impacted by the pandemic and regulatory changes in India's philanthropy ecosystem
  • Background:
    Built off DASRA's 2021 COVID relief campaign #BackTheFrontline, which raised USD 10+ million, supported 152 NGOs across 31 Indian states & union territories, and impacted 2.9+ million lives.
