Rebirth Grants
Overview: Programmatic grants supporting humanities-themed programming and initiatives at nonprofits across Louisiana.
Geographic Scope: 64 parishes of Louisiana
Eligibility:
Focus Areas: Humanities-themed programming and cultural initiatives
Contact Information:
- Federal tax identification/EIN number required
- Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) required
- IRS determination letter or equivalent documentation confirming tax status
- Program details including events and resources for public must be submitted at least one month in advance when possible
- Grant recipients must maintain contact with grant manager during project course
Key Requirements
- Provide grant-funded program details through designated portal
- Use LEH logo and boilerplate language as outlined in Communications Toolkit
- Tag LEH on social media (Facebook: @LAHumanities, Instagram: @LAHumanities, LinkedIn: @LaHumanities)
- Submit copies of promotional materials to robert@leh.org
- Complete final report with communications materials

How to Apply
Application Process
1. Apply through LEH's grant management portal (Apply Now link)
2. Submit required documentation:
- Federal tax identification/EIN number
- Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)
- IRS determination letter or equivalent documentation confirming tax status (R-1056)
3. Provide program details and narrative
4. Submit budget and budget narrative
5. Submit event details at least one month in advance when possible
- Organization's record of humanities-based programming documentation
- Budget template and narrative
- Evidence of 501(c)(3) status or equivalent
- UEI confirmation
- Program description and goals
