Rea Charitable Trust Grant

The Rea Charitable Trust, established in 2009 by Mrs. Isabel McClintic Rea, prioritizes support for charitable organizations that focus on the arts. Administered by Comerica Bank & Trust, the trust provides funding through structured application periods for organizations based on their names. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations, limited to one application per year. The trust aims to uphold Mrs. Rea's legacy by fostering artistic endeavors within the community.

Application period and deadlines
If you are an organization with a legal name beginning with letters A through L, please submit your application between January 1 and February 15 to be considered at our Spring grant meeting. Applications submitted outside of January 1 to February 15 will not be considered.
August 15: Organization names beginning with letters M – Z
If you are an organization with a legal name beginning with letters M through Z, please submit your application between July 1 and August 15 to be considered at our Fall grant meeting. Applications submitted outside of July 1 to August 15 will not be considered.

Eligibility

To be eligible, organizations must qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations are limited to one application every 12 months and must be submitted only during their respective application period.

Ineligibility

Grants will only be made to qualifying charitable organizations. Grants will not be made to individuals.
