Overview

The RDTSS The Stephen B. Harris Mid-Career Scientist Award, sponsored by Inotiv, honors outstanding research and contributions in Reproductive and Developmental Toxicology by active members of the RDTSS. Candidates must have completed significant work since their graduate or postdoctoral training and be within ten to twenty years of their last formal education. The award is presented at the SOT Annual Meeting, recognizing excellence in research, mentorship, and leadership.

This award recognizes an active Full or Associate member of the RDTSS for outstanding research and scientific contribution completed since graduate and/or postdoctoral training. The criteria for the award are originality, discovery, and excellence in the field of Reproductive and Developmental Toxicology as evidenced by peer-reviewed manuscripts in journals of high caliber, teaching, mentorship, leadership, contributions to regulatory DART practice/guidelines, and/or other commensurate evidence of expertise in the field. Individuals working in academia, government, and industry will be equally eligible to compete for this award.
The RDTSS awards committee will consider the impact of the individual contributions based on publications, teaching, leadership, mentorship, and enthusiasm/engagement in issues of significance to the field of Reproductive and Developmental Toxicology. The award will be presented at the RDTSS reception at the SOT Annual Meeting.
