About Richmond County Savings Foundation The Foundation was formed in 1998 for the following purposes: To share with the community part of the financial success of Richmond County Savings Bank as a community minded financial service institution.To enable the community to share in the growth and profitability of the Bank Mission Statement Richmond County Savings Foundation has established itself as a leading philanthropic institution in the Staten Island community and beyond. We invest in projects that offer dimension to our community and programs that offer choices and services. The Foundation supports places within our community where people are nourished, students learn, patients heal, nature is enjoyed, culture is explored, seniors’ lives are enriched and human services are offered. Richmond County Savings Foundation is committed to continued success in supporting our communities’ non-profit organizations.. Grant Program Nonprofit organizations may request funding for program or project support, journal ad or event sponsorship. Grant requests are reviewed throughout the year for amounts up to $5,000.

Eligibility

RCSF accepts proposals from Staten Island based nonprofit organizations with IRS 501c (3) status that provide programs and services on Staten Island. All organizations applying to RCSF must be in good standing and current on all required federal and state filings. Current with RCSF final reports.Produce a 990 and financial statements within the last 18 months.Staten Island based.

Ineligibility

Grants will not be issued for events.
