Ravitz Family Foundation Grant

The Ravitz Family Foundation, established in 1996 by Doris and Stanley Ravitz, is dedicated to supporting local children and families in need. With a commitment to community welfare, the foundation provides grants to various charitable organizations, religious groups, and schools in South Jersey. Over the years, it has positively impacted numerous lives, enhancing educational opportunities and support for underprivileged families. The foundation encourages eligible agencies to apply for funding that aligns with its mission of fostering community growth.

In the past requests have varied from funding after school programs to summer field trips for needy children to aiding families who may not be able to provide sufficient shelter for themselves. Grants are issued by the Ravitz Family Foundation, to those organizations and causes who request for financial support best meet the “mission” Doris and Stanley Ravitz created in 1996.
In fact, during the last four years, we have been able to grant money to more than thirty local charitable organizations, religious groups, schools and members of our community in need.
In 1996, Doris and Stanley Ravitz funded the formation of the Ravitz Family Foundation. During the last several years, we have been fortunate to be able to grant money to more than forty local charitable organizations, religious groups, schools, and members of our community in need. We encourage all agencies and programs that are consistent with our mission to aid children and families in need to contact us.

Eligibility

To apply for a grant from the Ravitz Family Foundation, please provide the following items:

• A general overview of your program and target population
• A specific program or need for which you are requesting funding, along with the amount requested
• A copy of your 501c(3)
