Background The Raskob Foundation is an independent, private family foundation. Founded in 1945, the Foundation is proud of its legacy of grant making and philanthropic activity in service to the Catholic Church and institutions and organizations identified with it. Currently, five generations of family members continue the vision established by its founders, John and Helena Raskob. The Raskob Foundation’s mission is to aid the Roman Catholic Church by providing resources in support of organizations, ministries, programs and projects associated with it throughout the world. What types of programs does the Foundation support? The Raskob Foundation supports a large variety of programs and projects, addressing the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, as well as Catholic Social Teachings. The docket is one of goodness, supporting programs that meet social or spiritual needs of individuals, particularly those on the margins, such as welcoming the stranger, feeding the hungry, accompanying the vulnerable, providing access to education, or aiding in faith formation. International Grants -  Projects taking place outside the United States & Its Territories. The mission of the Raskob Foundation is to support projects from institutions and organizations identified with the Catholic Church.

Purpose Restrictions -We do notaccept requests for these purposes:Requests by or for individuals for any purpose are not accepted (including tuition, scholarships, fellowships or scholarly research) Endowment Funds Reduction of Debt Anything completed, purchased, or accomplished prior to our Board meetings Attempts to influence legislation or the outcome of any specific electionConstruction/Renovation Projects - costing over $200,000 are NOT eligible until these conditions are met:50% of the total cost is in hand Signed construction contract is in existence Construction is underway
