RAMAC Foundation Microgrant Program

Overview: The RAMAC Foundation provides microgrants to organizations in need of support for projects with an educational component.

Geographic Scope: Located East of I-94 only (Sturtevant, Mount Pleasant, Caledonia, Franksville, Wind Point, Elmwood Park, City of Racine, North Bay)

Eligibility:

  • 501(c)(3) organization with proof of 501(c)(3) status, OR

  • Small business (less than 50 employees) with a specific need that aligns with the RAMAC Foundation's purpose

  • Located East of I-94 only
  • Focus Areas:

  • Projects with an educational component (preference given)

  • Programs, projects, or events only

  • Preference given to 501(c)(3) nonprofits, but small business submissions will be considered
  • What They Don't Fund:

  • Lobbying efforts or political action groups

  • Labor unions

  • Annual fund drives or capital campaigns

  • Endowment-building campaigns

  • Operating costs

  • Capital expenses

  • Salaries
  • Award Details:

  • Maximum grant: $1,000

  • No minimum

  • Total funding available may vary year-to-year

  • One granting cycle per year
  • Grant Review Process:

  • Deadline: September 1st

  • Review by RAMAC Foundation Board of Directors: typically 3rd week of September

  • Email notification of approval/denial

  • Payout: typically October
  • Post-Award Requirements (if funded):

  • Sign and submit grant agreement

  • Recognize RAMAC Foundation as funding source on marketing materials/advertising

  • Submit report within 60 days of project completion

  • Late/incomplete reports negatively impact future eligibility

  • Information may be used in RAMAC reports, media, or publications
