Overview

The Columbus Foundation In 1943, during the darkness of World War II, a group of passionate citizens, led by Columbus businessman Harrison M. Sayre, envisioned a way to improve the well-being of the community and the quality of life in central Ohio. With little more than this sound idea and faith, The Columbus Foundation was established. Our Mission To assist donors and others in strengthening and improving our community for the benefit of all its residents. R + L Carriers Scholarship The scholarship supports the R+L Carriers employees' dependent children in achieving their higher education goals.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Candidates must be graduating high school seniors. Candidates must be the dependent child of a current R+L Carriers employee of five years, as of the scholarship deadline. Dependent child includes a biological child, legally adopted child, stepchild, and any child for whom the R+L Carriers employee is the legal guardian. Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Candidates must plan to pursue full-time, post-secondary education at a two- or four-year college or university in the U.S.
