Overview

Supporting Chenango County Through Qualifying Grants The Robert C. Smith Foundation was created in 2005 by Robert C. Smith, a life-long resident of Norwich, New York. More than one-half of the Foundations distributions, since its inception, have been provided to our Catholic Community and other religious affiliates within Chenango County. The balance of our distributions have been provided to programs supporting the youth, our area food pantries and others in need. The Foundation has a nine-member Board of Directors which meets on a quarterly basis to review grant applications in accordance with policies established by the Board.
