Overview
The AthLife Foundation awards competitive grants to high schools and middle schools (and school districts) to create and sustain an Academic Athletic Coach staff position that uses sport to drive academic achievement and life/leadership skills. Only schools/school districts are eligible for First-Year Grants or Renewals (nonprofits/CBOs/third parties are not); 2026-27 grant applications are open; schools that traditionally serve lower-income/Tribal/BIE students are encouraged; grantees must send ≥2 staff to the 3ACE National Conference.
