R. Bruce & Alyce S. Kopseker Trust Grant

The R. Bruce & Alyce S. Kopseker Trust supports initiatives that assist individuals over 60 in Door County, helping them remain healthy and independent at home. Grants are available for program support, equipment, capacity building, and operational needs. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits and governmental bodies that do not discriminate based on race, gender, or other factors. Certain activities, such as fundraising and religious programs, are excluded from funding.

The R. Bruce & Alyce S. Kopseker Trust grant program considers requests for funding from initiatives aimed at helping those over 60 years of age north of Sturgeon Bay remain healthy and independent in their homes.

Eligibility

All applicants must meet the following:
Be a nonprofit organization with a 501(c)(3) designation by the Internal Revenue Service or a governmental body, such as a school or municipalityServe those over 60 years of age, who live primarily north of Sturgeon Bay in Door CountyConduct business without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, veteran status or national origin

Ineligibility

We do not fund:Annual appeals, capital campaigns or other fundraising activities or eventsReligious activities or programs that serve, or appear to serve, specific religious organizations, groups, denominations, or beliefsIndividualsEndowmentsDebt retirement, debt financing, reduction of an operating deficit or replenishment of resources used to pay for such purposesLobbying or legislative activitiesCapital improvementsProgramming or expenses occurring before the grant is awardedEfforts substantially serving people outside of Brown, Kewaunee and Oconto counties
